PK CRIMELORDS
This is a fascinating story of how two cultures intertwined to produce some of the most smartest, cunning, and innovative crime figures of the 21st century.
EXTRACT
The first generation of Pakistani immigrants were small, law abiding, hardworking people who took pride in working long hours and saving all they could to give the next generation a better life. This generation set up factories, restaurants, taxi's, cornershops etc so they could offer a better oppurtunity for their offspring.
Their offspring however integrated not only into the UK society in general, but also into the crime underbelly battling and carving out a peice of the lucrative industry for themselves. From street dealers to international crime lords, the British-Pakistani population seem to have representation at all levels. This books touches upon some of their characters that shaped a different narrative to the generation before and were no longer the weak targets of paki bashing by White racists.
